Finland Guide Volunteer Training

The Finland Guide training provides a comprehensive overview of volunteering at the Finnish Refugee Council. After the training, you will understand the Finland Guide role, how the volunteer activities are organised, and how you can support people who have moved to Finland with everyday matters such as finding services, studies, job searching, and developing digital skills. You will also get to know the Finnish Refugee Council and its values, and have the opportunity to network with other new volunteers.
Finland Guide volunteers provide individual support to immigrants over a three-month period. Meetings are agreed together and can take place, for example, in a library or café.
The Finland Guide volunteer training is held in person and is intended for new English-speaking volunteers in the capital region. Welcome to take the first step toward a meaningful volunteer role!
