Developing skills for life

You have managed to flee, you have survived the crisis, now what do you do?

The Finnish Refugee Council supports refugees, returnees and internally displaced people in finding a new path in life. We help our clients build self-confidence and self-reliance through education and life skill development. We work with adults, especially youth and women, and give them tools to better manage their day-to-day lives and participate in the societies they live in.

The Finnish Refugee Council operates in protracted refugee contexts as well as in post-conflict and returnee areas. We are currently operating in Uganda, Liberia and Myanmar. The focus of our work is on adult education.
